Welcome to Voice Vortex

Overview

Voice Vortex is a unique speaking hackathon designed to foster creativity and passion for public speaking. Through a series of challenges, participants will hone their impromptu presentation and persuasion skills, while also learning to think on their feet and adapt to new situations.

Event Overview

There will be two rounds in the event - both exploring different avenues of rhetoric persuasion.

Round 1 - Pitch Perfect - Character Charades :

Participants will give an impromptu presentation based on a chosen topic and character.

Round 2 - I Will See You In Court :

The best 8 speakers will be divided into two groups and given unsolved case files. They will have to solve the mystery of the case, and present the case in court.

Evaluation will be based on impromptu characterization, rhetoric persuasion, creativity, quick thinking and adaptability of the participant.
