Epic Engineering Event
Description: Epic Engineering is a fun and interactive event designed to unleash creativity and inspire participants to craft imaginative and mechanical marvels using simple ice cream sticks, straws, and rubbers as the primary building material. This event provides a platform for individuals of all ages to explore their artistic and engineering skills while fostering teamwork, innovation, and problem-solving.
Event Structure:
Round 1: Design (Time: 1 hour)
In the first round, participants will be provided with all the necessary materials and a limited amount of time to design from the presentation. A total of 20 teams will participate, and the top 10 will proceed to the next round.
Round 2: Replication (Time: 1 hour)
The second round involves replicating the designs created by the teams in round 1. Only 10 teams will participate, and the best 5 will move forward to the Finale.
Finale: Megatrons (Time: 1hr 30 mins)
The final round introduces a challenge where five equally challenging models will be placed on the table, covered with boxes. Teams, randomly selected, will choose a box without knowing the design inside and replicate it within the given time.
Judging Criteria: After each replication round, a panel of judges will evaluate the replicas based on criteria such as accuracy, attention to detail, craftsmanship, and adherence to the original design.
Team Formation: Contestants will form teams of 5 members, and they can create their own teams.
