Arcade Zone

Get ready to explore the endless possibilities of Machine Learning (ML) with this event. Here we will showcase how ML can be used for building real-world applications and exciting games.

Projects:

Hairstyle Recommendation:

  • Face shape classification and hairstyle recommendations are very crucial tools in the beauty industry. Here we built a prototype version of the same which will take an input image of a person's face and output your face shape along with suggesting three hairstyles.

Hand Cricket Game:

  • This project illustrates how ML can be used to create fun real-world games on a computer. The person's hand gesture will be taken as an image input and the computer will be your opponent, and all hand cricket game rules apply here. Can you set the highest score?

Movie/Song Recommendation:

  • These days recommendation algorithms using ML are everywhere like on Netflix, YouTube, Google, etc. In this project, we made a prototype version of the same which inputs a face image and based on his/her mood will recommend movies and songs.

Subway Surfers:

  • You might have played this game, but in our project, we will alter the game mechanic to use player movements as input and move the in-game character. A lot of other games are also planned in addition to this one, so how far can you survive?

Bytes to Bites:

  • A lot of online websites nowadays provide recipes for some given ingredients, our project will implement the same as it will take input images of the ingredients and provide you step-by-step instructions for making a recipe with the given ingredients in the language of your choice.

HeadSync Shooter:

  • Recently shooting games have become more popular, so in this project, with the help of ML we built a small prototype of a shooting game mechanism such that our head will control the gun position, and we can fire a gun when we blink.

And many more...
